Debashish Mukherjee is a respected professional who has been working with A.T. Kearney since 2000 as Partner and Regional Lead – Middle East & Africa. He featured in the Economic Times ‘40 under 40’ list in 2015.
In his 20 years at Kearney, he helped clients across multiple industries and countries achieve their operational and strategic goals. He is fascinated by consumer behaviour and choices. In 2019, he moved to Dubai to head Kearney’s consumer and retail practice in the Middle East.

Debashish has been selected as one of the hottest 40 young business leaders in India (“40 under 40”) by Economic Times – Spencer Stuart, 2015. He has extensive experience in evaluating strategic decisions by companies as well as assisting Clients in their operations transformations. He currently leads the Consumer Goods & Retail industries practice in the Middle East and Africa (ME&A) Region, where his unique blend of experience of emerging and developed markets will help address the complex growth and profitability challenges in the ME&A Region.
He has worked across multiple countries in Asia and Middle East. Debashish has authored key thought pieces in the area of consumer behavior, Winning in Food in Emerging markets and is widely quoted in local media. In addition, Debashish provides oversight to Marketing activities in India. He has also served on the global Brand Council. He currently serves on the CII National Committee for FMCG and Retail in India.
