In this episode of The Brand Called You, we have as our guest, a businesswoman and a wellness coach, Preeti Rao in conversation with our host Ashutosh Garg. Preeti is the founder and CEO of Wellji. After working for a fitness industry for sometime, Preeti found out that she couldn’t perform sirsasana and she was determined to make it possible, she went to an ashram and had life changing experiences. She’s been working to make people’s lives better by helping them attain sustainable health by focusing on every sphere in life, like nutrition, meditation, mental health and so on, through her organisation Wellji. She tells us that Wellji focuses on integrated health and holistic health instead of focusing on just physical fitness. She shares her views on how wellness coaches help individuals improve their mental health by changing their lifestyle. When asked about millennials, Preeti remarks that the millennial generation is health oriented and takes care of their health but they are lagging behind when it comes to communicating their feelings. Her expertise lays in integrative health, exercise physiology, nutrition, wellness coaching, health coaching, stress management, corporate wellness programs, integrated and complementary medicine, healthy aging and global health.  .

Her previous professional work at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Aetna Wellness Coaching Program, and Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic in California, USA and has exposed her to integrative medicine clinical practice and increased her confidence in the efficacy of integrating conventional (allopathic) medicine with Health and Wellness Coaching. In the past, Preeti has also been associated with Reebok India as their 

Fitness Brand Ambassador, India. She is a qualified personal trainer by AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), US and is also a certified yoga teacher by the Sivananda School of Yoga, Trivandrum, Kerala.
