Profile

Sherene Goonetilleke (Attorney – at – Law & Company Secretary) has been with the Group since 2008 and counts over 12 years of experience in the legal field. She joined the JIT Group as a Legal Officer in 2008 and has since then risen up the ranks to be appointed as the COO in 2018. Prior to being appointed as the COO in 2018, Sherene was Group Head of Legal/HR & Administration. She is experienced in providing legal advice and expertise on a diverse range of areas and possesses a strong working knowledge of complex commercial law matters. She is further augmented with extensive hands on management experience ranging from Human Resources, Public Relations, Operations and Administration. Currently she functions as the Chief Operating Officer of the Group responsible for all operational and internal functions of the organization. Sherene also functions as the Board Secretary for the Group. Sherene is and has been a big believer in the value of hard work throughout her career—Tied very closely to hard word is commitment and perseverance which she believes in and practices very strongly
