- I initiated involvement with the Dutch government 15 years ago, advocating for the inclusion of IT expertise in discussions concerning the implementation of national healthcare information systems, leading to the establishment of a community within the Dutch parliament focused on the impact of information technology on society.
- Expanded engagement by serving as the Program Director for the World Conference on Innovation Technology and partnering with CIO communities, fostering connections between various groups and facilitating discussions on the role of technology in policymaking and societal development.
- I further extended influence by collaborating with international organisations like UNESCO to address emerging challenges in digital technology, such as accountability gaps, and leveraging experiences to promote global initiatives like AI for Good, highlighting the transformative potential of digital technology on a global scal

- I would emphasize the importance of enjoying the process and having fun.
- I want to share a guiding principle acronym, “HAIL” (Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity, and Love), which I followed to lead a fulfilling life.
- I would like to encourage individuals to be themselves and remain honest, asserting that these qualities are fundamental to living a fulfilling and purposeful life.
