23:02- What advice do you have for leaders who are dealing with resistance to change within their teams?

  • Integrate both emotional and rational approaches when implementing changes. Ensure the purpose and targeted future are well-articulated, supported by logic, consumer insights, and technology, to create a compelling and sensible vision.
  • Present ideas that are well-thought-out and make sense. Avoid bringing half-baked ideas to the team, as this increases resistance. Clear, powerful ideas with logical foundations are more likely to gain initial acceptance, even if some resistance remains.
  • Address change in a way that enhances team members’ futures rather than threatening them. Show how the business’s success and future growth align with the personal and professional success of the current team. This alignment can help reduce resistance by connecting change to positive outcomes for individuals.
