15:47- What lessons would you give to entrepreneurs who are out there because you’ve been a series of companies that have succeeded?
- The lesson is about opportunity costs; we decided, and I led the decision, to return money to investors and pull the plug on Stellaris.
- I believed limiting the solution to a few verticals, rather than serving the larger market, would waste resources and my time.
- The most critical opportunity cost for entrepreneurs to consider is their time and effort, so we closed the company and I moved on.
51:54- Is there any set of recommendations or questions you want to leave for the audience?
- Always look for a problem rather than starting with a solution and trying to fit it in. Focus on problems that are big in scale.
- The effort to develop a solution, bring it to market, and put it in the hands of users is very similar, no matter how big the market is for that problem.
- Since resources and time are limited, focus on big problems that can serve many people.
