- Prior to starting TreeWear which is focused on the environment, my brother and I used to work in completely different professions.
- While we succeeded in creating more environmentally friendly options for things that people needed, we realized that there are certain compromises that one has to make for achieving their goal.
- We have the support of our family that has helped us in focussing on following our passion rather than just making profits.
08:15- Challenges while building TreeWear
- Our main challenge was the environmental awareness aspect. It was a challenge to bring that awareness to other people.
- When we started spreading awareness through the name TreeWear, we came up with a concept of planting a tree for each t-shirt we sold.
12:45- How can we protect our environment?
Two main things that we all can do in our lives to make a difference:
- Vote for the right people. Support someone who is doing something for our environment because that would lead to larger policy changes.
- Use your spending power correctly. If you use your money towards more environmentally friendly options. It helps to build and evolve the industry.
15:25- About Simply Native Low Waste Shop
- Simply Native is Alibaug’s first Low Waste convenience store!
- We sell a wide range of products including Food (grains, pulses, spices, snacks), Personal Care essentials, Home Care products and Aromatherapy in refillable packaging.
