[05:39] – Are writers born, or can they be trained?
- I believe the spark should be there.
- You can’t have a six-week writing course on creative writing to make you a writer.
- Courses can tweak your skills, and your art and craft, or writing can be honed, but writers are born, not made.
[08:35] – What is your advice for aspiring writers
- Make writing your passion.
- Writing is all about ideas, so you should be in that space of creativity and those parts which are around you. Try to accept them and whenever you get the time, write them down.
- Never ever fear rejection. Even after my 47 books, when I send the 48th one, the apprehension is the same. Rejection is the part and parcel of the journey.
