  • A lot of people feel that it would be too confining for them.
  • They fear that it will impact their individuality.
  • But people always enjoy visiting us as we have a guest room in the common house. 

[26:56] – What are some things that you struggle with that you’re hoping to remedy?

  • People with generational wealth and power have become more isolated.
  • They are, to an extent, envious of the community-oriented people. 
  •  Most of the co-housing is white upper-class and not diverse, which was a struggle. 

[32:30] – Is co-housing for everybody or not?

  • It depends on the kind of lifestyle a person wants.
  • You have to develop skills of adaptability and compromise.
