  • Humility – Being intellectually humble, always learning, recognizing you can’t be the expert in everything, and being able to leverage and empathize with others’ talents and skills.
  • Courage – Having the courage to do things differently from the status quo and common practices, even if it’s difficult, as Steve Jobs exemplified.
  • Discipline – Having the discipline to stay focused and say no to good ideas that don’t align with the core priorities and capacity of the organization.

24:12- How have you been shaped by people in your life? And how are they influencing you as a coach today?

  • People I have lived and worked with created conditions that helped evolve my ideas, thinking, and way of being, which contributed to my success.
  • In recent years, connecting internationally through platforms like LinkedIn has tremendously expanded my network and ability to engage with others interested in the topics I discuss.
  • The interactions and conversations with this diverse, global network of people have been invaluable in shaping my perspective and approach as a coach.
