02:50: What is a soft skill?
- Soft skills is a skill, which helps you get along with people.
- It is a skill, which will help you in your career. Especially when you’re in an office, you face a different set of challenges.
- The most important of the soft skills are communication skills and are most in demand in any part of the world.
[06:41]: Which are some of the soft skills you work with?
- I work in communication skills, and negotiation skills, and a very interesting area is voice ability.
- You can use your voice to impress people, you can use your voice to go higher up on the ladder by just altering the tone of your voice.
- I also run programs on accents
[17:10]: Is there a difference when it comes to soft skills between genders?
- I don’t think so. My personal opinion is it all depends on the person.
- It always depends on their interest levels.
- I know the general assumption is that women are very soft, but they may be soft, but they must also be assertive.
- I think soft skills are gender agnostic.
[18:14]: Tell me about your book.
- I had a lot of time during the COVID. And I thought that this was one unfulfilled desire of mine to write a book.
- For the first book, I was trying to write about anecdotes and stories that will be largely unknown to people. And they were unheard of.
- The second book was about ancient secrets of soft skills unraveled.
