  • I thought I would end my career abruptly if I didn’t move correctly.
  • I went to college at 42 to get a dance degree; I was getting divorced, money was drying faster, and I had two boys to raise.
  • I realise age is just a number.
  • I raised my children to be vegetarian.
  • I believe there is no reason for the type of aging we see.

07:45 – Do men and women handle aging differently? What are some solutions to handle aging?

  • Women are more willing to change. They are more flexible and open.
  • Men like to be solid and rigid.
  • I gently tell my male clients things and give them a chance to accept.
  • One of the most significant issues today is stress. In America, stress is 90% of the cause of illness among people.
  • When people do an organ transplant, they inject the patient with cortisol because it shuts down the immune system. If we are in flight response, blood goes to the extremities. The arms and legs run and remove the blood from the vital organs. Vital organs are where the immune system lives with all the stress. It becomes open to all kinds of illnesses.
  • They can be as severe as cancer or minor chronic diseases like a cold or flu.
  • As long as I’m not getting sick, my immune system is okay.

[22:25] – What three lessons do you want our audience to take away?

  • Young people don’t believe that they will be going to age. Start earlier to take care of your diet and movement patterns. Don’t neglect posture because it is everything. It affects all areas of health.
  • Watch your diet. Food is medicine, don’t eat junk food, vegetarianism, or a ketogenic diet. Don’t fall for the mainstream.
  • Have fun, enjoy life and forget about stress; trust the universe to jump in and take care of us. We are not made of glass.
