Florian is the Managing Partner of Bamboo Capital Partners, Founder of Ryan-Kay and Board Member of numerous organisations. [01:05]- From a purposeful capital deployment and investment, can you update us on your actions?

• The world has changed not because ESG is at the forefront of sustainability itself but because it is witnessing the impact of climate change and food security issues. Crisis to tackle right now in a devastating way.
• On the Other side, the Genzs are coming up and taking an important role not only from a consumer perspective but also from an investor perspective. Their quest is very different.
• On the scientific data, GenZs differ from the previous generations, which were more or less aligned. At the forefront, there is a concern for the planet and humanity.
• However, it helps our cause as you want to move mainstream Money into net positive and not net negative for growth. It makes our work more meaningful.

[26:30]– Can you talk about Planet Action Network?

• When we looked at the theories of the change, we had more prosperity on this sustainable business site. We looked at peace action as a long-standing and significant network.
• Climate change is so significant that we must create a group of 750 members to qualify to become a network. That is the threshold, and now we are over 2000.
• These networks also directly collaborate with other industry-specific business networks.
• To enhance the learning around sustainability, nature-based solutions like Planet Action Network are exciting and enjoyable for people to learn from.

[28:06]- What is a North Star Chapter? What is your goal with it?

• A North star is the beacon of light guiding us to our purpose. But the intention is not to create a Network chapter of like-minded people focused on the goal, but we have also experimented as a portal of entry for YPO.
• When you talk to younger entrepreneurs and CEOs who are purpose-driven, they might not see YPO itself as necessarily so far dedicated to the goal. But if you have like-minded people in a chapter, they could join. That makes the conversation very different.
• We created this chapter 1.5 years ago to initially have people disregard whether we might be for-profit or not-for-profit, to resolve world issues through business, and support good capital as a first-world leadership.
• We all participate in one-dollar members to participate in local chapters, so the North Star shines all over.

[39:47]- What are your recommendations for this interview’s closure?

• If there is something we can be worried about, current problems of the world or do something about it, at whatever scale is to Walk the Talk.
• I believe it is a calling to all of us in a positive way because humans can do amazing things if they want to.
• We can become more sustainable and not deplete the planet. We can still be more profitable, not tighten the belt and harm the economy.
• Invitation is for anyone to learn, reach out, engage, and do something about it. Whether it is at your home, family, company, project, or philanthropy if we all understand that impact is not only contagious, it is fun.
