[06:30] – What is your perspective on transformation?
- I would say that change and growth at scale equal transformation.
- I think if you can’t scale, it’s not going to stick.
- Transformation is constantly evolving and it’s not linear.
- In an organization, mindset, and team are really important to be able to get to the point where you are ready to transition and step into that transformation.
- I also feel that for there to be growth and change, it needs to be sustainable.
[11:10] – Tell me about the work Aurecon is doing in the area of climate change.
- Any organization that is in this space doesn’t take a one-track approach.
- If you’re really serious about it, there are a number of different pieces.
- It’s in our DNA to actually help industries and organizations to help tackle climate change, and our engineering DNA naturally plays to that.
- We’re looking at that from an investment point of view with the board and discussing where we can make the greatest impact for people and planet and prosperity, but equally, where we can, also make a profit.
- I feel prosperity and profits can and should coexist.
