Hunger is a widespread concern that affects millions of people around the globe. According to the United Nations, as of 2021, over 690 million people are undernourished, and approximately 9% of the global population is suffering from chronic hunger. To address the issue of hunger, various organizations, governments, and individuals are working towards increasing access to nutritious food, reducing poverty and inequality, improving agricultural practices, and supporting sustainable development. We have Sudhir Singh who is the Founder of one such organization.

02:16 – Tell me what your mission is and what work are you doing?
- I got this idea in an incident during the pandemic. We were roaming the streets during covid and we asked a group of people why they were roaming the streets and they said they were looking for food.
- We started on this journey at that time because we thought that food is the most basic right of every human being.
- We believe that one can move towards their betterment and focus on more important things if they have their stomach filled. This philosophy led us to pursue this aim to feed as many people as we can.
05:10 – What are the nutritional challenges of Indian children?
- The data clearly implies that more than 50% of Indian children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition.
- The issue with people in rural areas is that they do not get enough food to eat while the issue with urban people is that they are not conscious of what they are eating.
- So, one problem is the availability of food and the other problem is the awareness of the right kind of food.
18:07 – What do you do for the welfare of our farmers?
- We try our best to help the farmers and we buy from farmers only and not through any other middlemen.
- We pay more than the market prices to the farmers that we get in touch with.
- We try to buy as much as we can so that we can feed as many people as we can and also help the farmers in reducing their food wastage.
