02:42- About Performance Enablers

  • Our primary focus is on raising the bar and leadership effectiveness largely in the corporate sector, but I have also done some work with NGOs.
  • It has executive coaching. It means designing a complete program of leaders’ effectiveness.
  • We are an HR Consulting organization. 
  • We firmly believe that value to a client can be created only through a partnership over a period of time, as mindsets and behaviors take time to change. 
  • Our engagements with the clients, therefore, are mostly outcome-linked and run over a period of time. 

05:05- How has Human Resources changed and evolved over the past 2 decades?

  • I see three areas that have evolved very significantly. 
  • One is, in terms of the basic HR processes, like recruiting, onboarding, and performance management in all of these, I think the ideas, best practices, models, and frameworks, have developed a lot.
  • The other part that has evolved very significantly is the use of technology and digitization.
  • The third is the part where humans, and it’s become a C-suite role.

18:37- Moonlighting and Gig Economy

  • I agree with the companies not allowing moonlighting because of the way it is done. 
  • The employers do not know what the employee is offering to other companies.
  • Any responsible employer will not allow this.
  • The gig economy is here to stay and is growing, and it is good if done with transparency.

24:21- Three lessons

  • Strike a balance between what you need and what you aspire for.
  • Lead a fulfilling life and live with your core values.
  • If you have lived your life to your true potential, enable others to do the same.
