06:06- What challenges arise when changing government organizations due to the conservative nature of employees and their tendency to resist change?
- The greatest challenge I faced when I started in the 90s as a junior consultant was introducing important insights from the private sector into government organizations.
- Back then, the concept of being client-oriented, having business plans, KPIs, and striving for efficiency was unfamiliar and astonishing to many of my colleagues.
- It required numerous conversations and projects to implement this efficiency mindset in the government.
- However, looking back now, I see a significant shift in attitudes among new employees entering our administration.
- Many young employees are eager to work on socially relevant projects and make a positive impact on society.
- This shift in employee attitude is remarkable.

- In the administration, we see ourselves as civil servants.
- While being client-oriented, reliable, and efficient remains significant, we recognize the need for more.
- Today, we face complex problems that require partnerships and new skills. We must be adaptable, curious, creative, and open to experimentation.
- Listening to others and humbly acknowledging their insights is crucial.
- We no longer assume we have all the answers as the government.
- Instead, we value the wisdom of other organizations and seek collaborative solutions.
