About Ahal:
Ahal is the founder of Ahal Coaching and he works with top performers. He is a gifted coach and is very passionate about helping other people realise their potential.
In this articulate conversation with host Ashutosh Garg, Ahal takes us through his incredible journey of coaching. He talks about the many experiences he has gained on the journey.
Why coaching:
When asked what led him to be a coach, Ahal replies
“I’m in this stage in my life that I feel I need to give back. And giving back can have many forms. You know, I can give money which I do. I don’t need people to come and tell me oh how do you change our lives this is not what it’s about. It’s just for me to see in the eyes of the person that I work with and that for me is enough.
And you know so now I’m on the quest of giving back and on a quest that I want to do things that really keep me as an individual happy and content. And not to do things because other people think I should do them or because society thinks I should do them etcetera. And you know for me this is the if you like- the road to happiness”
Discussion:
As a professional coach, Ahal shares the nitty gritties of coaching. Ahal talks about analysing one’s coach and how one can determine if the coach is right for them. He believes that the impact of coaching is visibly seen in the individual and their behaviour with others.
A significant progress can be noted and analyzed. Ahal believes that every individual needs a coach. Whether it is for professional progress or personal growth, a coach can act as a catalyst for both.
In a modern era of Millenials and Gen Z, coaching has changed significantly. Organisations and businesses have to adapt to the dynamic working style of these generations. Ahal shares his opinions on how this change is gradually taking place and about its progressive nature.
Mindful Advice:
Ahal’s advice to young and aspiring generation is
“Take a deep breath. Put your shoulders down first. Relax. You know you are entering into a long journey. Life is many days. It’s not just from here to there. Be willing to understand that you will fail, that you will disappoint and just accept it.
As on the same path you know with equanimity. Use equanimity to failure as you do to success and you know just be true to your core values. I think this is also very very important. If you believe in something, be true to it.”
Ahal is a man of his values and he is determined to help people grow to their best selves!
