- Back then, you could change careers within the same company without losing anything.
- I transitioned to a systems engineer, in IBM’s technical marketing arm, working with major media clients like ABC and CBS. I later became a consulting systems engineer.
- My career at IBM included launching management consulting, engaging with C-level executives, and building a vast network of leaders.
53:00- Do you have one final recommendation to the audience and/or questions you want to leave the audience?
- This is the most exciting time to get involved in IT, whether you’re an IT person or not, and it’s your only choice, so you might as well enjoy it.
- If you’re not enjoying, feeling challenged, or making a contribution in your work, something is wrong.
- Despite the craziness in the world with politics, wars, and the economy, from a business and IT perspective, this is a wonderful and fun time.
