Mr. Gupta has 36 years of rich international and domestic experience in management consulting, banking, executive search and now in his entrepreneurial venture in senior living and wellness. More than two decades have been as the MD/CEO of companies. Mr. Gupta is now an entrepreneur and is constructing a high-end senior living and wellness center in Dehradun and intends to open more locations too. Prior to this, he was a Senior Advisor with a few companies and on the Advisory Boards with a few Universities for a few years. Mr. Gupta has had an illustrious career, as the Country Head and Managing Director for Korn/Ferry International’s India office for 12 years where he took them to a leadership position in the country and worked very closely with clients and senior executives across all sectors in the country. He has also been the Executive Chairman for DHR International for 2 1⁄2 years. Mr. Gupta has frequently been invited to speak at leading trade and industry forums and has been quoted in the media globally. He has managed large corporate relationships for the bank both with multinationals and domestic companies. Mr. Gupta began his career in management consulting with KPMG in 1983, specializing in Healthcare Consulting in Cleveland & Chicago and then with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cleveland for a total of 6 years before shifting to Banking in USA in 1989. Mr. Gupta is a CPA and a member of the Accountancy Board of Ohio, as well as a Chartered Accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He graduated with honors from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta University and received a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management Information Systems from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland. Mr. Gupta has attended a leadership program at the Harvard Business School, USA. He has also attended Hunt Partners’ 10th Edition of the Directors’ Club training for Non-Executive / Independent Directors which is an accredited certification program recognized by the National Foundation of Corporate Governance (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GOI).
