- This lesson influenced my leadership style, which focuses on respect and thoughtful communication.
- Growing up in a frugal household taught me that lavish surroundings are unnecessary for happiness or success.

[11:03] – Why did you get involved in transportation and healthcare, and what were your learnings?
- I became involved in transportation because of my daily train commute and a suggestion from my CEO.
- I learned that systems only work if every component, including unglamorous ones like parking, functions properly.
- My work in healthcare stemmed from my time in HR, where I realised that investing in keeping people healthy yields better long-term results than reacting to illness.
[21:11] – What advice do you have for young leaders based on your life experiences?
- Live by strong moral values, particularly treating others the way you’d want to be treated.
- Be a continuous learner and learn from anyone who can teach you.
