00:35- About Michelle Bisset
- Michelle Bisset is the Founder and Managing Director of We Factor, a company that helps teams navigate change and uncertainty.
- She developed the “Arc of Change” model focused on Adaptability, Resilience, and Collaborative Co-Creation to enable teams to thrive during flux.
- Michelle is a seasoned Coach, Speaker, and Facilitator.
14:17- What does it mean to lead a team through flux, and how can leaders embrace this rather than resist it?
- We need to see flux as our new reality, not something to be managed. It’s an opportunity for growth, not a problem to solve.
- Understanding our own natural reactions to change, whether that’s a tendency to control, protect, or keep the peace, is crucial. This allows us to adjust our approach.
- Creating safety, trust, and collaborative problem-solving within the team is key to navigating flux, and not relying on rigid processes.
22:22- What are some of the latest trends in change navigation that you are seeing that can help leaders stay ahead?
- I’m seeing a growing focus on sustainable work practices within teams, which leaders need to prioritise.
- The concept of stable teams is becoming less common, so I believe leaders need to develop more agile approaches to dynamic, project-based teaming.
- By equipping leaders and teams with strong change navigation skills, I think we can have a much wider positive impact beyond the workplace, which forward-thinking leaders should embrace.
