Hassan Al-Hazeem is the Managing Director of Intercoil International, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of Sleep Products in the Middle East region. Intercoil is based in Dubai and has wholly-owned subsidiaries in the GCC, Lebanon, and Jordan. Intercoil manufactures polyurethane foam, furniture, and sleep products, yet its core business is considered the latter. Intercoil distributes its sleep products in more than 22 countries under three brand names (Intercoil, Simmons, and Therapedic), and has 24 retail outlets in the GCC Lebanon, and Jordan. Intercoil is ranked no.4 among Dubai SME 100, has achieved Dubai Quality Appreciation Certificate in 2011, and has been awarded Dubai CSR label in 2011 and 2012.
Mr.Al-Hazeem has been an active member of the Entrepreneurs Organization –UAE chapter- since 2004. He was the president of the EO UAE chapter for the FY 2012/2013, and is currently the Communications Director for Middle East and Pakistan. Prior to Intercoil, Mr.Al-Hazeem worked for the Commercial Bank of Dubai for four years. His tenure with CBD helped him acquire a comprehensive experience in finance and banking, and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the banking and credit system in the U.A.E.
Hassan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science –Dec. 1994- from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, U.S.A, and an MBA degree in International Business Administration from the American University in Dubai (1997).
