The goal was to feel the suffering of people and consciously act upon it and inspire compassion in action. The organisation works towards providing selfless services of all kinds across the world.
Their mission is to galvanise 1 million volunteers and provide the platform to enable social change campaigns in at least 50 cities globally by 2022!
They have a wide range of projects that include feeding the poor, setting up school libraries in impoverished schools around the world, tree planting, spreading awareness and a lot more. I have co-authored three books: ‘Moving Mountains’, ‘The Power of Dharma’ and ‘Pearl’s of Wisdom from Hinduism’ and I’m currently working on a book translating the Upanishads with Ram Dass titled, ‘Be Your Self’.
