General Lt. Kamat, as respectful as his rank is in the Indian military force, the ex-soldier has led his juniors in various missions. From being stationed in all the frontier of the country including Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh to Kashmir, the honourable ex-officer has also worked in other countries like Bhutan as nd Malaysia
Kamath who further explains the right and wrong of becoming a soldier also feels that it is one’s ‘karma’ to do well in your job. Kamath also talks about how the soldiers remarkably manage to keep their spirits perpetually high.

Military advancements:
Speaking about the advancements and wars in space and cyberspace, Kamath said ‘war destroys the economy. Mankind has devised different systems to fight and bend the political will of their adversary’
He also elaborated extensively on the relationship between China and Afghanistan. While India deals with china in a soft way he feels that with Afghanistan we share a special relationship.
‘China has posed a big challenge from all sides. India is very apologetic which boils his nerves. any incursion on the land we’ll attack the maritime domain.’, he remarked.
Further, he feels that the Indian diplomats do not know the strength of their own forces, the three forces are not a part of the cabinet committee on security, which he says is the biggest fault.
