01:26- How did you become a “Warrior for Cyber Peace”?
- I was a diplomat for most of my career.
- In India, in all Civil Services, including Foreign Services, we retire at 60. In my case, I was asked to stay for two more years and join the National Security Council.
- The first task assigned was to look at what was happening in Cybersecurity.
- They wanted me to get everybody to communicate.
04:12- How do you get people to start listening to you?
- The most important thing is to be humble. Do not be arrogant.
- It took months of negotiation and a number of meetings to come to a conclusion where we felt everybody had got some fair share of the responsibility and a fair allocation of work.
18:03- What does success mean to you?
- For me, success would mean achieving a task well and with the best possible outcome.
