02:56- How do you define Leadership of Change?

  • My basic definition of Leadership of Change would be the implementation of the models, concepts, frameworks and checklists that one can use as a roadmap for the future.
  • I focus mainly on five areas – leadership implementation, employee change adoption, behavioral change, leadership teams and sponsorships.
  • It is about improving that leadership of change in organizations and the leaders that will deliver that.

08:01- Can you share your insights about the three approaches about implementing change?

  • FIrst would be employee collaboration, we focus on the welfare of employees so that they are with us through the change and not burnt out because of it.
  • Second is change adoption, you get aware about the change needed, prepare for it and then implement it.
  • Third is leadership implementation and sponsorship where you get effective and proactive sponsorship and challenge the leadership to implement the change.

13:34- What are the change responsibilities during organizational change?

  • Firstly, I think leaders need to be proactive and have a vision for change.
  • Then they need to model a new way and not just ask people to do what they want.
  • Lastly, I think accountability and intervention are important to keep employees on track when they mess up.
