He describes himself as a ‘chatterbox. And someone who is artistic. Prof Janardhan has always loved to paint, sculpt, and lettering. A very young Janardhan has inclined towards lettering different types of fonts. His journey, very interestingly, began by copying fonts on printing press manuals. He is now a handwriting and calligraphy expert.

His passion for writing has led him to encourage this profession and help many people recognize their potential. In his opinion, age is not a deciding factor for good handwriting. Until the eye and hand coordination is good, anybody can learn to master writing!
The Prof talks about the seven elements of handwriting and highlights its importance. He explains how good handwriting can impact our senses. He also talks about his very unique museum that is home to several types of nibs, quills, pens, and other writing tools. Prof Janardhan is the only Indian to teach Power Writing to British students. He is also the only Indian who was allowed to write his own passport!
“I have created parameters. I became the first and the only Indian to write my own passport. I had the power to convince the external defense ministry. I wrote my daughter’s birth certificate and my father’s death certificate. All emotions loaded emotional documents. And it got me visas to us in a jiffy. All I had to do was give a handwritten letter and – as they say- a thing of beauty is a joy forever and it melts the onlooker. He wants to go the extra mile to do something for you that’s what I said it’s got the power to get so many things done which normally is impossible”
