Mr. Drory explained the meaning of management to the audience. In his opinion management is a ‘situation’. It is about bringing people to solve different challenges in the management area. Mr. Drory believes that the usage of the word ‘problem’ is fundamentally wrong. A management crisis should be better described as a ‘challenge’. The correct usage of words itself brings in a positive attitude towards conflict resolution.
Having worked in both India and China, Mr. Drory and Mr. Garg discussed the cultural differences of the two nations. Mr. Drory remarked that China has more giant companies with government influence, while India has self-reliant medium and small companies.
He also spoke about love as a business strategy. He believes that to win a business one needs to work with empathy and love. Listening and understanding the people in the workplace. Similarly success to Mr. Drory is being happy, healthy and loved!
