  • The purpose is to make healthcare affordable and accessible to as many people globally as possible. 
  • This purpose has guided their business development and innovation efforts.
  • The key business areas include medical distribution, emergency medical supplies, animal health, third-party billing of consumable medical products, and telemedicine. 
  • We reach 260 million covered lives via insurance contracts and are licensed in 49 states, operating in 48 states and 20 countries.

[34:36] – How do you perceive the adoption of AI and technology in healthcare, particularly in bridging the gap between clinicians and innovative tools?

  • The adoption of AI and technology in healthcare, including tools like radiology solutions, faces challenges due to resistance and existing incentives in the healthcare system. 
  • However, evolving incentives, such as those tied to quality goals and social determinants of health, are gradually influencing adoption.
