He has been a valued leader for top-notch corporates including Mahindra Group, Accenture, Tata Group and CRISIL, a Standard & Poor’s Company during his stints.
Most recently, He led Mahindra Group’s Integrated Cities Business for 7+ years as CEO & Business Head – Mahindra World City, Jaipur and Board Director at 3 Joint Venture Investment Platform companies along with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Sumitomo Corporation.
Earlier he led Transformation & scale creation for Tata Communications’ as its VP, Global Enterprise Business and then at Tata Teleservices’ Enterprise Business.
Sanjay has championed and co-led various initiatives for India as a destination of choice for over 2 decades: earlier for IT/ ITES Services and now for “Make in India” collaborating closely with various stakeholders including Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Invest India, CII and other industry bodies, etc. in various capacities. Sanjay was a key representative at the Industry Leaders’ Committee formed under the aegis Ministry of Commerce & Industry for recommending post SEZ reforms. He has led state delegation to the Hanover Messe as Session Chairperson for Make in India.
Sanjay has completed his global executive education at Harvard Business School and Stephen M Ross Business School, Chicago. He is a B. Tech (Computer Science) and a Management Graduate from IIM Calcutta.
Sanjay has won many accolades including being felicitated as India’s Most Admired Leader for “Business Transformation and Make in India” in 2020.
