  • I am a family physician, lawyer, and ex-medical director who now specializes in life, career, and leadership coaching and mentoring of doctors and other professionals.
  • I also work with institutions and their leaders to help them develop and promote kind leadership cultures within both their immediate teams and wider organizations.
  • I also really enjoy doing wellness/wellbeing work and believe it’s the foundation for everything else.

00:59- How has your background supported your coaching philosophy, style, and values?

  • My values are honesty, gratitude, love, humor, and justice.
  • My coaching style and philosophy are guided by my values.

03:02- Why did you decide to become a coach?

  • When I was offered leadership coaching, I started looking at everything through a different lens.
  • It had a great impact on me. It encouraged me to take coaching as a profession because I wanted to make an impact on others.

08:35- How is coaching a millennial or GenZ different from coaching a senior leader?

  • My oldest client was in his mid-60s.
  • My youngest current client is in her mid to late 20s.
  • I find differences in coaching people of different generations just down to the traits of that person.
  • There are very unkind and unpleasant people of both ages.

21:18- Three lessons

  • Spend time with your loved ones.
  • Be a kind leader.
  • Live, love, and lead by your values.
