- The military service allowed me to see and experience certain parts of myself.
- That led me to pursue life on a very different scale.
- By participating in a different culture living abroad, I was able to expand my worldview.

- You never give up.
- You never raise a white flag and surrender because you’re not comfortable with it.
- The survival mechanism kicks in which is encouraged and built upon during military service.
- It allowed me in life to engage with difficult experiences of life.
[31:02] – Can anybody be a leader?
- By nature, we all have to be leaders of ourselves.
- Either you lead your life or you are being led.
- When you understand your participation in your life, it allows you to develop skills accordingly.
