- With the billions of people and companies, it is important on how you get to stand out in the crowd.
- The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) describes it as a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organisations and the public.
[02:55] – What goes into building a strong corporate image?
- You need to focus on building your brand identity and not just name recognition.
- You need to have a consistent look along with a consistent image.
- Furthermore, you also have to choose the right media. Then you have your traditional marketing and electronic marketing.
[08:30] – What determines that there is a crisis brewing in the company or has already hit an organization? At what stage are you called in to support or help the company?
- It is something they should always be prepared for. So, always put together a crisis management program, ahead of time because numerous situations can arise, like economic situations, strikes, market crashes, and labor shortages.
- You should always have your PR department looking and foreseeing the problems. Companies often do not even know about it, as they do not follow social media or hashtags.
- If you are reacting after the bad, you are already in a bad situation.

- It is important to know your brand purpose. You do a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats).
- You should also study your competition and what they are doing.
- It is further important to identify your target audience and outline your key benefits to them.
- You want to have your brand story and a logo. It is tricky as you need something catchy, and that stays. It is about being creative.
