01:02- Two or three inflection points that made you the marvelous person that you are today
- I grew up and did my high school in Shanghai. At that time, I met with an admission officer, and he suggested I apply to colleges in the U.S. I took the SAT and ended up getting into Stanford University.
- When I was at Cornell University I started as an Electoral engineering professor. I actually did a circuit design for my undergrad and a Ph.D.
- I moved to Duke and directed the position center I had my first inaugural Center Symposium.
- Serendipity does happen. This usually happens in a big way that really changes your career, but you also have to be ready for it.
