Overview
On another episode of The Brand Called You, we have with us a very successful Entrepreneur and Environmental Activist Mr. Jai Dhar Gupta. Mr. Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Nirvana Being, a quality air equipment provider. He has specialised in Environmental Science after finishing corporate finance. Mr. Gupta is extremely passionate about the Environment and Air quality.
Mr. Garg and Mr. Gupta engaged in a very interesting conversation about the quality of the air that we breathe in every second. They discussed the status of the air quality in Delhi, and how it has worsened from hazardous to poor. This air quality Mr. Gupta believes, leads to increased levels of non-communicable diseases like cancer, diabetes, blood pressure etc.Â
Mr. Gupta explained the government’s role in striving towards better air quality and how it’s not being done in our country. His simple solution and advice to the officials is to incentivise good behaviour and penalise bad behaviour. Talking about ignorance towards the environment, Mr. Gupta believes that the corporate mechanisms have made everything extremely easy and convenient. He believes that if each one of us along with the government support makes an effort, the air quality of the country can be improved largely.Â
“Examine everything you do everyday”
Talking about his business, Mr. Gupta believes that his consciousness towards striving for better air quality has simply turned into a business where he makes and provides well researched and good quality products.
His passion for a safer living and cleaner air has led him to take big steps towards the betterment of society and the Environment at large.
