Gauri Chaudhari is a Co-founder of Brand Innerworld, a brand consultancy firm specializing in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical brands. Recently, she has authored a book, The Perfect Pill: 10 steps to Build a Strong Healthcare Brand, published by Sage Publication. The book has been a great success and is declared as ‘Hot Release’ by Amazon. It trended as the best seller on Amazon in the month of March 20. The book is available in India, USA and UK.
Currently, as a Co-founder of Brand Innerworld Consultancy, Gauri is involved in Brand Audits, Life-cycle management, Insight mining studies for both Indian and Multinational Pharmaceutical brands. She has been mentoring brand managers and marketing managers by providing on- the- job coaching. Brand Innerworld is involved in several exploratory studies to understand physicians’ and patients’ attitudes and behavior and their impact on pharmaceutical businesses.
In digital space, Brand Innerworld has developed mobile applications for dermatologists and orthopedics which have now become the official Apps of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL) and Indian Association of Orthopaedic (IOA).
Before starting Brand Innerworld, Gauri headed the Healthcare wing of Draft FCB Ulka advertising and was responsible for the entire healthcare business of the group. During her decade long career at Draft FCB Ulka, she got an opportunity to work with a range of brands marketed by Abbott, Glaxo SmithKline, Dr. Reddy’s, Cipla, Johnson and Johnson, and many other renowned pharma companies. Many brands claimed leadership in the market, ex-Augmentin, Cobadex, Brufen, Cremaffin.
She played a key role in developing advertising and media campaigns of several OTC brands, including Calcium Sandoz and Seven seas. She worked on medical Device brands such as One Touch, Surgical Brands Like Vicryl. She helped Rx to OTC switches of industry’s flagship brands such as PediaSure, Digene. Gauri also developed communication campaigns for Hospitals, e.g., Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
Gauri was responsible for developing advertising campaigns for HIV/AIDS awareness
for the Indian population funded by John Hopkins and Bill Gates foundation. She developed the Knee Replacement advertising campaign for the Rheumatic Arthritis Association of India.
Gauri contributed actively to the consultancy wing of Draft FCB Ulka for both healthcare as well as consumer brands. While pharmaceutical brand consultancy involved life cycle management, Rx to OTC decisions, Direct to consumer initiatives, and ROIs related assignments; the consumer brand consultancy involved developing health-related claims with the help of academia.
Gauri was an integral part of the Global team of FCB-Ulka Healthcare, based in New York, USA. The global team developed several patient attitudes and behavior models for improving communication between patients, doctors, and healthcare brand.
Gauri began her career as a Brand Manager. She worked with Boehringer Mannheim and Knoll Pharmaceuticals (now part of Abbott), managing brands in neuropsychiatry, gastroenterology, general medicine, and nutraceutical.

Gauri is a pharmacy graduate(B.Pharm) with a master’s degree (MMS) in management studies.
