Although the percentage of vegans and vegetarians is as small as 6-11% as per the United Nations’ figures, the hatred towards factory farming is ever increasing.. from Hollywood celebrities like James Cromwell, Ellen Page to famed comedians like Frank Ferrante and Russell Brand to the Gen Z and millennial influencers, all denounce factory farming and are the flagbearers of veganism and vegetarianism.
While they might be the frontrunners for the cause, Elysabeth Alfano is here with us who will reason the cause and explain why this lifestyle is towards sustainability and a better world.

Discussion
Elysabeth Alfano, a passionate promoter of plant-based products talks on a plethora of topics regarding the market and business around the world of veganism and vegetarians.
Alfano shares her knowledge of how money works in the vegetarian, vegan world and why the Millenials and Gen Z is taking a fervor leap towards a world that is free of animal-based products, free of factory farming. She also spoke on issues of a shifting global food supply system.
The environment-friendly businesswoman also explained why she feels Millenials and Gen Z cannot be grouped as vegans or vegetarians but as ‘flexitarians’.
‘Millenials and GenZ are making the connection between the environment, the sustainability and what they eat’, Alfano said pointing out that the younger generation does not want themselves to be defined by a particular word.
Alfano also deep dives into the word ‘Health’ which she says cannot be ‘black and white’ As per her vast experience, she feels that health can rather be defined as a spectrum and people with different eating habits fall into different spectrums.
