- Ideas don’t get funding, execution does.
- You are not your customer. You need to touch and feel and embrace your end customer multiple times.
- Think deep down about the product. It should be consumer fit.
- It’s an extremely lonely journey.
- Be ready for failures.

14:07- What are some of the areas that you think the young leaders need to be coached in?
- The first one is time management.
- The second is patience. We tend to give ourselves much less time than we should.
- The third one is teamwork. The biggest learning for a leader is giving up responsibility and ownership.
- The fourth thing is, to get the right people. Spend a disproportionate amount of time on hiring, and getting the right people.
- Once you get your right team in place, whether good times or bad the team will deliver.
- If you get the wrong team, even in the best of times, you would not be able to succeed.
22:51- What would you say are three lessons you want our viewers and listeners to take away from your journey and our conversation?
