Today on The Brand Called You, Mr. Garg engages in an enlightening conversation with Leadership Development Consultant, Aarti Choudary. She is also a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist and an alumna of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
Ms. Choudary talks about the increasing diversity and inclusion in the Indian society and the importance of the same in today’s time. She throws light on the status of working women and the difficulties they face. In a male oriented society she explains how difficult it is for women to re-enter the work space after starting a family and how different it is for men, when compared, with respect to the same situation.
Ms. Choudary also elucidates the importance of coaching. She believes that coaching is a choice and if a person feels the need they should definitely go for it. She further also talks about how her life changed in the 90s, personally as well as professionally.
She has worked and interacted with a number of career oriented people. She is motivated and experimental. She grabs opportunities and tries to make good use of it.

Arti is a graduate in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. She has over 25 years of experience in the service, manufacturing, FMCG, technology and telecom industry. Arti has a consulting practice in Leadership Development since March 2000. Prior to that she has worked with the Eicher group for 9 years. A significant part of Arti’s assignments are in the area of Diversity and Inclusion. She is actively involved in developing organization cultures that facilitate inclusion and develop leaders who leverage diversity. Arti is also a trustee for “Rashtriya Virjanand Andh Kanya Vidyalaya Society”, an NGO that runs residential schools and career centers for visually impaired girls from underprivileged backgrounds Arti is the external member of the “Internal Complaints Committee” for Prevention and Redressal of Sexual Harassment at over 16 organizations, including

Arti has led Diversity and Inclusion related transformation at Mars Chocolates India, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages and Bharti Infra. She is certified by OCAI for Organization Culture Development. She is also trained in theatre techniques for training. Arti is a certified facilitator and Coach for DDI – Development Dimensions International.
