  • The AI for Good program is an initiative led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for sustainable development goals (SDGs). 
  • Its primary goal is to find and promote AI-based solutions that can address global challenges and contribute to positive social and environmental impact.

[23:21] – What is the Korean Startup Forum? What is its goal?

  • The Korean Startup Forum was established by startup founders in South Korea to collectively advocate for the startup community’s interests. 
  • Its primary purpose is to represent the startup community’s voice to the government, promote startup-friendly policies, and provide education.
  • It also provides training for startup founders and creates opportunities for networking, collaboration, and growth.

[28:59] – Explain the significance of “Come Up” and its role in the startup community.

  • “Come Up” is one of the largest startup events in the Asian region.
  • It is organised in collaboration with the South Korean Ministry of Startups and SMEs. 
  • It serves as a festival-like gathering for the startup community, allowing startups to exhibit their solutions, pitch to a broad audience, engage in business matching, and share knowledge and experiences.
