01:58- Your Mission is “To empower EVERY human being on Earth to become an exceptional communicator” – please explain with an example
- I believe that the next world-changer, who could be the next Oprah Winfrey or Elon Musk, might be a seven-year-old girl in a third-world country who lacks resources.
- I want to continue the work of communication expert Dale Carnegie and democratize information through coaching at a high level.
- Unlike Carnegie, who never had the chance to showcase his own communication skills, I am grateful to have the opportunity to do so through modern platforms.
02:55- How do you define communication?
- My definition of communication is the process of conveying an idea in a way that achieves a specific outcome for a particular audience.
- It encompasses a wide range of topics, from convincing my significant other to have Mexican food instead of Chinese food, to persuading a board of executives to invest in my million-dollar project.
- It could also involve guesting on a podcast and sharing valuable information or inspiration with the audience. That’s what communication means to me.
12:52- What advice do you have for people who are looking to improve their public speaking skills?
- My advice is always to build momentum.
- I believe that the biggest challenge with communication is not fear, but consistency and motivation.
- To achieve progress, it’s important to take easy steps and measure tangible results. For instance, if you want to lose weight, you can start by cutting junk food, doing intermittent fasting, and avoiding soft drinks. After two weeks, if you’ve lost two pounds, you’ll feel motivated to keep going.
- In communication, it’s not always easy to see tangible progress, which is why I suggest starting with simple exercises like the random word exercise, asking yourself a communication question every day for five minutes, and sending short video messages to people you love.
- By doing these consistently for 30 days, you’ll build up your communication skills and feel more confident.
