- My interest in sustainable settlement in extreme environments grew out of a combination of factors.
- It included my fascination with space exploration and my realisation of the interconnectedness between off-world settlements and sustainability efforts on Earth.
- I chose Venus as a potential location for human settlement due to its unique characteristics, such as the possibility of experiencing one g of gravity in the upper atmosphere and its relatively hospitable temperature conditions.

- They need to align business goals with sustainable practices, engage stakeholders in decision-making processes, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Adaptability and empathy are key traits of effective leaders, as they enable leaders to tailor their approach to the needs and preferences of individual team members.
