- I’ve loved math since I was a kid, and it was a natural interest for me.
- My family, though culturally diverse, did not pressure me into math; my brother studied art while I pursued engineering.
- The Applied Math program at Columbia was compelling because it combined pure math with practical applications like engineering, statistics, and probability.
