- Law has gotten more competitive – new firms keep emerging. Clients now have more choices, so they pick whoever provides the best service.
- Firms are consolidating globally now. We merged with a firm that has a footprint across Africa to offer seamless coordination rather than separate lawyers by geography.
- Legal tech applies to other industries. More automation and digitization are coming to increase efficiency like in other sectors.
19:10 – Tell me a little bit about some of the key principles that you have emphasized in your book.
- Build capacity first to make imaginative ideas a reality. Develop skills that enable executing big dreams rather than incremental gains.
- Understand consumer pain, not just what they ask for. Customers wanted faster horses, not cars that solve aspirations. Go beyond stated needs.
