- Structure is always very important.
- The constraints often enhance creativity by providing a framework within which ideas can flourish.
- For example, giving a specific direction like “play a power ballad” is easier for me than having no boundaries at all.
[39:50] – How would you describe the experience of matching sensory inputs, like music and colours, through synesthesia?
- It is like someone is appreciating art.
- While everyone might enjoy a piece of art, someone with more knowledge could explain why certain elements, like the rule of thirds, make the piece appealing.
- Similarly, my synesthesia allows me to understand and explain why certain musical combinations or sensory experiences work well together.
