Overview
The trend of coaching has increased significantly in recent years and so does their need. A coach helps individuals uncover their potential, climb up the career ladder and improve their life overall by asking the right questions. Be it a Career coach, an executive coach, or a life coach, people are realizing the importance of hiring coaches and at the same time, people are showing interest in becoming a coach themselves to impact others’ lives positively.
Well, today we have invited Gilad Karni, Founder, of The Dream Team to share his insights with us.
00:48- About Gilad Karni
- I dedicate my life to helping leaders transcend the limitations of their minds and awaken their limitless nature and potential as a teacher, leader, and activist.
- As a former professional basketball player who served in the special forces with deep knowledge in consciousness, spirituality, and transformational work, I bring a unique combination to my coaching by integrating business development, leadership coaching, and spiritual teaching.
01:24- What made you select coaching as a career?
- I really wanted to find the answer to two questions:
- What am I already doing best? I had decades of experience in leadership and being a teammate.
- I was always passionate to help people and be of service to other people and help others grow.
03:17- What lessons did you learn that have helped you as a coach?
- The importance of a team and putting the team above yourself.
- The importance of trust. Many times, we say we’re willing to die for our teammates on the court. But the most successful teams are even willing to live for one another off the court.
- The ability to be among a team and try to accomplish great things together creates possibilities for greater accomplishments.
05:10- The tools you use to help people transcend limitations of mind and to become more inspiring leaders
- I immerse myself a lot in the space of understanding consciousness and the nature of mind and reality.
- We need to discover something that’s greater to the mind and disguise and understand the limits of it.
- It can be mindfulness, a deep transformational coaching approach that I cultivate. I have multiple tools that I tailor to the person in the process when it’s right.
08:37- How do you define an inspiring leader?
- People who live fully expressed. These people hide and hold nothing back from who they are.
- Being very comfortable and courageous in being who they are and pursuing and living their dream.
