05:07-Can you give me some examples of what is meant by service management in IT?

  • Any organization or industry provides a product or a service.
  • Now, when you call to get this service you will definitely need support because your end customer needs to reach out to a lot of people who do that over the phone and over emails, which is actually totally chaos.
  • Companies try to save some costs, by working through emails, but you’ll not be able to generate reports.
  • As a leader, you will not be able to run analysis and statistics to understand how you plan, forecast or budget.
  • Our tool will help in terms of managing your typical service aspect of it to your end customer.
  • There are different models at a very high level, it’s service management, but within that, you have a module taking care of your impedance and change requests etc.

09:28- Tell me about TUSSOM and how it works.

  • TUSSOM stands for The Unified Service and Support for Operations Management.
  • There is IT Service Management,  IT Asset Management, and then you have IT Operations Management.
  • Most people, when they intend to go with this implementation, they ask ‘Do we have a certain set of models like the incident problem, service request change, or capacity?’
  • We have developed all those modules, and have some of the latest technologies and features incorporated like chat, and chatbot, with the help of artificial intelligence.
  • We have focused a lot on the user experience, and the customer experience, such that, when people use it, they should be able to feel very comfortable using the tool.
  • Rather than thinking of this as a technical tool, they should be able to use it in a way that they use the desktop applications, even though it is an enterprise solution.

15:21-How are you preparing as a technology company for web 3.0?

  • There are two parts to it. One is the people and the second is the understanding that we are not experts in everything.
  • I prefer to have people who have two years to five years of experience but not more than that.
  • They are trying to learn something, they are trying to focus on their career and are ready to learn new technology.
  • Secondly, our focus is service management, and to cater to web 3.0 we have partnered with experts to ensure that we integrate that and have it as a single platform.
  • For example, we have partnered with IoT people and with people who are good with bots, because they will have a laser focus on that and the quality of the product, which should enable us to integrate with and help meet the customer needs.
