02:31- Can you tell me about National Healthcare Practice?

  • The future of work is highly intertwined with the work that I do in National Healthcare Practice.
  • I serve as an operating partner to many different sized colleges and universities and my main job is to put them on a path to prosperity.
  • So what I do is I maintain a strategic partnership between healthcare and IT and other industries to get the best out of them

07:53- How do you see technology changing the workplace?

  • Technology is actually impacting the workplaces in every way now even in healthcare.
  • We are seeing the power of artificial intelligence in healthcare also but we need to be careful about not taking out the human aspect out of the processes while implementing technology.
  • Healthcare starts with H because it stands for humanity, so we have to keep our focus on the human aspect of it.

20:06- Do you think women leaders are not given importance?

  • Getting into the boardroom is not enough. The board members have to empower and listen to the voice of their women colleagues.
  • I make it my intentional action to speak up for when there is anybody whose voice is being overheard.
  • One of my mentors has guided me to do more in terms of leadership so that I can help empower the voices of more and more people.
