Overview

Today, there is unchecked economic inequality, and individuals struggle to obtain the necessities of life—health, food, clothing, a place to live, and an education. NGOs step in to offer assistance and support at this point. They perform their duties to close any gaps left by the government and work to enhance the quality of life for underprivileged populations.

In today’s episode of The Brand Called You, Khursheed N Khurody talks about the various aspects of the social sector and how it is faring in contemporary society.

She also talks about her personal definition of success and the key moments of her life.

  • It’s very difficult for me to put things in buckets, because I don’t see life as a series of successes and failures. It is one large experiential journey

26:29- What would you say are three lessons or three learnings you would like to share with our viewers?

  • I think the first would be you can’t fight time. Time is our most precious commodity.
  • And all we have from start to finish is this thing called Time, which is finite. I would say spend time alone with a quiet mind and find yourself.
  • That’s a key driver in your life, when you’ve learned to be alone with yourself, and to care for your conscience and your soul.
  • Listen, and experience life as it unfolds, there really isn’t a need to seek to compete to search for anything outside your own self.
